Who is Brewel Currie?
Brewel Currie is the Founder and Executive Director of Street Prophets Network Inc. and the Founder and President of the Street Prophets Clothing Brand. An ordained evangelist, mentor, and motivational speaker, his life is a powerful testimony of transformation through faith in Jesus Christ.
While incarcerated, Brewel surrendered his life to God, and that decision sparked a
visible change that impacted both inmates and correctional officers. After being filled with the Holy Spirit during a prison revival, he began receiving vision for the purpose God had planned for him.
After his release, he dedicated his life to helping others break free from destructive
cycles. He currently mentors individuals in reentry programs, created the B.R.E.W.E.L. curriculum (Being Ready Every Day With Empowered Living), and founded No More Chains New Life Ministry, out of which Street Prophets Ministry was birthed.
Today, Brewel leads a growing outreach through Street Prophets Network, reaching prisons, schools, youth programs, churches, and communities.
His mission is simple: to love people first, empower them boldly, and help them walk in purpose, freedom, and a transformed life.

Finding freedom behind bars

The idea was born from a simple human connection: interrupting an interesting conversation overheard at
K-State's Student Union. From there, ideas and visions grew, and we gained an experience that has changed us all for the better. A special thanks to Brewel Currie, Olivia Arnold and all of the members of Street Prophets and the Junction City Community Choir for being receptive to our vision and giving us an opportunity we will
remember for a lifetime.
